White House fires back at Ariana Grande over music used in ICE deportation video

The White House responded to Ariana Grande on Thursday after the “evil” actress criticized the Trump administration for using one of her songs in a community video depicting ICE arrests.

“We will say this for the last time: What is actually barbaric, inhumane and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who injured and killed innocent American citizens,” White House Press Secretary Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.

The 32-year-old singer criticized the White House earlier this week for using her song “Goodbye.” tik tok video, I write in the comments section: “Please never use my music in connection with this barbaric, inhumane and heinous nonsense. f-ice.”

The caption to the White House video read: “Goodbye. President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.”

As of Thursday, the audio appeared to have been removed from the video.

Last September, Grande shared an Instagram post in which she claimed that “immigrants have been violently taken from their families and their communities have been destroyed.”

She also attended the Women’s March shortly after President Donald Trump first took office in 2017 and vocally opposed his ban on transgender bathrooms on social media.

Last year, she also shared a protest sign that said: “Can someone please explain to you what crimes get you deported and what crimes get you elected president? It’s very confusing,” referring to Trump’s conviction for 34 felonies related to falsifying his business records in the Stormy Daniels “Histor Money” case.

She previously supported Kamala Harris for president and performed for former President Barack Obama at the White House in 2014.
