Second video reveals new details of Knicks fan’s harrassing Victor Wembanyama at Spurs hotel

The second video shows exactly what Knicks fans were throwing at Victor Wembanyama.

An initial video surfaced on Wednesday night that showed the Spurs star being hit by an unknown object, but new video seemingly confirmed it was eggs flying around Wimpanyama’s head as he arrived at the team hotel, the Ritz-Carlton.

After blowing a 29-point lead in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, the 22-year-old crouched down while trying to get into a hotel when a crowd of Knicks fans screamed at him and his teammates.

Security guards grabbed Wimpanyama and quickly escorted him inside the hotel while fans chanted “Wimpy” in an angry manner.

Early Thursday morning, fans took to X to express their displeasure with the situation.

“As a Knick fan, I absolutely hate this. I don’t like what Wemby does on the field. It pisses me off. But the game is decided between the lines. Never take sports anger outside the arena. Whether it’s from the fans or the players, win and lose with people from the line. Don’t be a**holes,” X user @BrettErmilio posted.

“Man at the end of the day it’s just basketball. Never dehumanize players,” X user @LakersPixie posted.

This is not the first case of violence and security concerns surrounding Knicks fans during the NBA Finals.

After a second-game viewing party outside Madison Square Garden, 26 people were arrested.

After a Game 3 watch party at Bryant Park, 21 others were taken into custody, and five officers were injured after fans threw objects at them.

The Frenchman – aside from being the Spurs’ biggest star – is Public Enemy No. 1 in New York City after he was not called for a flagrant foul after shoving Jalen Brunson to the ground in Game 3.

Wembanyama still finished the fourth game with 24 points and 13 rebounds, but he missed key late free throws as the Knicks maintained their lead in the game.

With their backs against the wall, the Spurs look to avoid elimination in Game 5 on Saturday as the series returns to San Antonio.
