Spencer Pratt has yet to make an official appearance since he was officially disqualified from the Los Angeles mayoral race, but it looks like his wife Heidi Montag is turning the spotlight back on her own music career.
Montag, 39, best known for her years on reality TV alongside Pratt, was photographed in Montecito holding a microphone on Wednesday as she made her way through Santa Barbara County’s upscale community on her way to the gym.
Wearing sweatpants and sunglasses, the mother-of-two smiled and waved to photographers as she headed across the area to her workout.
Montag was probably heading to rehearsals after her workout at the gym since she’s got a show booked for later this summer.
Montag is booked to attend the Neon Sky Festival in Edmonton, Alberta, on July 18.
Festival organizers say the show will include songs from her albums superficial and HeidiwoodIn addition to her latest single titled “Ex Machina”.
Montag continues to balance her entertainment career years after she first rose to fame on MTV Hills While dealing with the national uproar over her husband’s run for mayor.
Spencer was photographed earlier this week in his first public appearance since falling behind rival candidate Nithya Raman in the closely watched Los Angeles mayor’s race — but he has yet to issue an official statement conceding his mayoral race against incumbent Karen Bass and socialist Nithya Raman.
However, Spencer continued to reference the mayoral race on social media, responding to petty criticism from the likes of liberal late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
Pratt was photographed walking through a Carpinteria parking lot while wearing a black “HEIDIWOOD” T-shirt promoting Montage Music.
He paired the shirt with black shorts, sneakers, and a baseball cap as he carried a bag through the coastal community.
Montag’s relationship with Pratt was one of the most popular MTV reality shows “The Hills” setting the storyline.
The duo later returned to television on “The Hills: New Beginnings” and have continued to build their media presence with projects including their podcast “The Fame Game with Spencer and Heidi.”
Outside of television, Montag began her music career by releasing her album “Superficial” in 2010.
With Pratt’s political campaign now over, the latest photos of the two suggest they are heading back toward entertainment.
