The second person who was stabbed suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
One person was killed and another injured in a stabbing Monday night in Mattapan, police said.
At 8:26 p.m., Boston police were dispatched to 25 Astoria Street, where they found a male victim inside the home suffering from a stab wound, the Boston Police Department said. Posted in Community Alert.
Police said paramedics treated the victim’s injuries at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A BPD spokesperson told Boston.com that police also found a second stabbing victim with a non-life-threatening injury.
No additional information was available about the second victim.
Boston homicide detectives are investigating the incident, and anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the homicide unit at 617 343-4470, police said.
