Welcome back to Scenic Six.

Travel is a gift — and it was actually a gift last weekend when my parents took me to Panama City Beach, Florida, on a girls’ trip for my birthday. We dined on fresh fish by the ocean at sunset, relaxed on a gorgeous beach, and even enjoyed a pop-up performance by country star Riley Green.

This week, I’m sharing All-American vacations throughout New England in celebration of our nation’s bicentennial, car camping in Massachusetts, the Newport Folk Festival, a special kayaking festival in Maine, and more.
