Canton voke school teacher on leave after ‘reported allegations’

A vocational teacher at Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton has been placed on leave amid an investigation into “reported allegations,” district officials said.

In a letter to families on Sunday, Superintendent and Principal Jill M. Rossetti said the district immediately placed the teacher on administrative leave “upon learning of these concerns” regarding them. It did not mention the name of the teacher in question, nor did it specify the nature of the accusations.

“The safety and well-being of our students remains our top priority,” Rossetti added.

A Canton Police spokesperson confirmed that the department is also investigating the matter, but declined to provide further details.

“We understand that situations like this may raise questions and concerns within our community,” Rossetti told families. “Due to the ongoing nature of this personal matter and investigation, we are unable to provide additional details at this time.”
