Can we all get a refund? Now UN climate experts admit climate change won’t destroy Earth tomorrow

Apocalyptic predictions of climate change have been box office gold for Hollywood, but they have done untold damage to the public psyche, the economy, and the common man’s wallet.

Now the influential UN panel on climate change has quietly ignored the dire temperature-rising scenarios used in two previous reports predicting apocalyptic consequences of global warming if greenhouse emissions are not curbed.

For years, left-wing groups — based on questionable climate science — have been screaming about the coming climate catastrophe: The New York Times warned that “climate change is damaging the planet faster than we can adapt to it,” “climate change is accelerating toward catastrophe,” and “a hotter future is certain.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) insisted that the world will end by 2030 if we don’t address climate change — by which she meant wasting trillions of dollars on the Green New Deal and a return to a Stone Age-style lifestyle.

Democrats went to extremes in accepting the UN-backed Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report’s predictions of a dramatic rise in sea levels, rapidly melting glaciers, global crop failure, and even the eventual extinction of humanity.

But let’s face it: the UN’s scenarios were exaggerated from the beginning, and left-wing climate advocates promoted them even more.

The latest IPCC report credits renewable energy sources, global climate policy and recent emissions trends with making the most dire predictions “unreasonable.”

But even previous IPCC reports, when read CompletelyHe explained that the looming catastrophe predicted by the left was nothing more than a politically useful fantasy.

Last year, Dutch researchers refuted predictions of a catastrophic rise in sea levels In reality Looking at data collected from coastal locations around the world rather than models drawn from biased assumptions.

None of that has stopped the world from wasting trillions on futile “prevention” of climate change. Or scare young children out of their minds.

In New York alone, the catastrophic climate action plan requires closing natural gas-fired power plants and replacing them with more expensive plants. less Reliable – solar and offshore wind installations.

It sends energy costs through the roof.

Biased assumptions couched in scientific language have long been presented as fact In service of the politically motivated climate change agenda.

But just yet, don’t expect leftists to apologize or step down.

The good news? At least they won’t be able to credibly cite the IPCC to support their case.
