Zoe Saldaña says raising children in A A world full of misogyny difficult.
“There’s a lot of hype, and that hype is very widespread and very compelling,” the Avatar actress, a mother of three young boys, told Page Six exclusively at the 2026 Time 100 Gala on Thursday.
Saldaña, who shares 11-year-old twins Psy and Boy as well as Zayn, 9, with artist Marco Perego, admitted that it’s difficult to keep her boys “away from that noise and keep their little hearts nice and soft” while also “maintaining…[ing] Their minds are flexible.”

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actress is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent, while Perego was born in Italy.
Saldaña added that she is “extremely proud” of her children’s heritage, but ultimately she just wants them to be “absolute human beings.”
She continued: “And I believe that men are delicate flowers.” “It can be really flexible, but they’re so sweet. So I literally reserve that for them.”

Saldana went on to greet her other half, Marco Perego, whom she married in 2013, saying: “And to my beautiful-haired husband, the greatest honor of my life is to be your partner.
“I have pinned the moon over our beautiful, perfect sons Psy, Bowie and Zayn,” she continued. “They fill our skies every night with stars.”
Saldaña was honored in Time magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People of 2026, along with director James Cameron. Described in an article As a “phenomenon”.
