Larsa Pippen is opening up about the unexpected pause of The Real Housewives of Miami, and according to her, even the cast is still confused about what really happened.
Speaking on Two T’s in a Pod, Larsa reacted to the news that the show was put on hold, admitting she didn’t see it coming at all.
“I mean, I am too. I thought we had a really good season last year. I felt like there was so much going on in our lives. We had a great season. We were getting reviews that everything was great on our show. And then I don’t know what happened. I’m not sure to be honest with you.”
While there’s been speculation about possible reasons behind the pause, including cast dynamics and personal storylines, Larsa made it clear she doesn’t have a definitive answer.
“I just know that the fans have really been rallying for us. They’ve messaged us. They’ve been literally doing videos, tagging Andy, tagging Bravo, which I think kind of helps.”
When asked whether certain cast relationships — including Alexia Nepola’s on-and-off dynamic with Todd — may have played a role, Larsa didn’t dismiss it but also didn’t confirm anything.
“I don’t know. But I think that with art, there’s so much going on with our show. Alexia gets divorced and is back with Todd. Lisa’s situation, my situation.”
She also hinted that behind-the-scenes casting decisions may have contributed to the uncertainty.
“So I know they were recasting. They had a few rounds of casting, and I don’t know if they necessarily loved the new girls with a few of the main cast members. So I don’t know if that was something.”
According to Larsa, the most surprising part was how abruptly everything changed.
“We thought we were going to have a meeting about when we were going to start, and then they basically said, oh, by the way, we’re on pause.”
She went on to emphasize just how unclear things still are for the cast.
“It’s kind of crazy because no one’s even given us a real answer. I don’t know what it is because first we were going to film and then we weren’t, and so we’re just kind of up in limbo. I don’t know.”
Despite the uncertainty, Larsa says she’s still in close contact with some of her castmates.
“I talk to Marisol and Alexia and Stephanie basically every day.”
As for who should return if and when the show comes back, Larsa kept things diplomatic — mostly.
“I mean, all of them except a couple. All of them except for me. Come on, give it to me. No, I don’t know. Listen, I’m not a producer. I don’t know. Whatever works for the production company is fine with me.”
For now, it seems even the cast is waiting for answers — with Larsa making it clear that the pause has left more questions than clarity.
