Officials say the three-vehicle accident caused delays in Amesbury during a commute Monday afternoon.
A model home slid off a truck onto Interstate 495 in Amesbury Monday afternoon during a three-vehicle crash that caused hours of delay, officials said.
Troopers responded at approximately 3:30 p.m. to the northbound shoulder of I-495, just south of Route 150, for a heavy-duty truck crash with a modular home, a tanker truck, and a passenger vehicle, according to a release from Massachusetts State Police.
After the truck fell, the model home was left on its roof in the middle of I-495, officials said.
Authorities said there were no injuries and no dangerous materials were present.
During the cleanup, both left lanes of the highway were closed for approximately four hours, according to police.
