Alexia Nepola isn’t holding back when it comes to why The Real Housewives of Miami is currently on pause — and in her view, fans are a big part of the problem.
Despite constant praise for the show online and in person, Alexia says that support hasn’t translated into the only thing that matters: ratings.
“All these Bravo fans need to watch our show,” she said. “Because it’s always like, ‘Oh my God, we love your show.’ Our show’s so popular, but where are these Bravo fans? We need them! We need them to watch our show because apparently our ratings were not that high and that’s why we’re on a pause.”
Her frustration comes from what she sees as a disconnect between the show’s real-world popularity and its actual viewership numbers.
“The ratings don’t reflect what our popularity is, is what I’m trying to say,” she told Page Six. “So to those Bravo fans and people that love our show, please continue to watch and support us because we need that if you want to see us back on TV.”

Co-star Marysol Patton backed her up, saying their everyday experiences don’t match the idea that the show is struggling.
“Everywhere I go, people know who we are… and then to hear that the viewership was low doesn’t make sense.”
Still, Alexia suggested there could be other factors, including when the show aired.
“Our show was in the summer which is a difficult time of the year to actually watch the show live. So I think that influenced a lot.”
Even so, her message to fans is clear: if they want RHOM back, they need to actually tune in — not just talk about it.
For now, the show remains on pause — and according to Alexia, the ball is in the fans’ court.
