Ryan Reynolds shares how he and wife Blake Lively manage their ‘real life’ amid Justin Baldoni lawsuit

Ryan Reynolds’ constant support for his wife, Blake Lively, helps them manage their “real life” as Justin Baldoni’s drama “It Ends With Us” unfolds before the world’s eyes.

“People have no idea what’s really going on, you know?” Actor Willie Geist said During a live taping of Sunday Sitdown when he was asked how he and Lively were dealing with the fallout from the nasty legal battle.

“You really see a kind of illusion behind a lot of this stuff, you know? Digital life versus real life,” Reynolds, 49, explained.

His passionate comments about the “Gossip Girl” alum come days after reports that she was “devastated” in Hollywood by her years-long legal battle with the “It Ends With Us” director.

“She is devastated by this lawsuit in Hollywood,” a Disney executive who allegedly worked with Lively, 38, told the Daily Mail in an article published last week.

The source added: “The truth is, she has never been that popular. She has a reputation for being difficult, and one of those toxic people who always thinks she knows best.”

The outlet also reported that Reynolds and Lively are looking to move to the UK so the latter can “rebrand there” after the legal war.

Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation in December 2024, citing several alleged incidents from her time on the set of “It Ends With Us.”

Baldoni, 42, denied his co-star’s allegations and countersued for $400 million, which was canceled in June.

But as we previously reported, he scored a major legal win in the case earlier this month after 13 of Lively’s claims against the Wayfarer Studios co-founder were dismissed.

“We are very pleased that the court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every lawsuit brought against the individual defendants,” Baldoni’s team said of the ruling in a statement to Page Six at the time.

“These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the court for its careful review of the facts, the law and the voluminous evidence that was presented.”

Lively also addressed the court’s decision with a statement shared via Instagram, saying, “The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this case because of the widespread retaliation I faced, and continue to do so, because of my personal and professional demands to provide a safe work environment for myself and others.”

Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams did They failed to reach a settlement agreement, leading them to face off in court on May 18.
