To kick off the first day on Thursday, April 23, Pittsburgh-raised and jazz-trained artist Kells will perform the National Anthem. Before the National Anthem, the James Weldon Johnson Foundation National Hymn Choir, which includes the Heritage Gospel Choir of Pittsburgh, will perform the hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” conducted by Grammy Award-winner Dr. Jeffrey Redding.

As part of the Day 2 festivities on Friday, April 24, Khalifa and Michaels will perform at 5:15 PM ET prior to Draft Rounds 2 and 3 that evening.

“Coming back to Pittsburgh for the draft is very special,” Khalifa said. “This city has lifted me up, and the energy here is different. To come back to the fans and represent the city in a moment like this is good.”

“I could not be more honored, excited and thrilled to be asked to perform at the Pittsburgh 2026 Draft on Friday night,” Michaels said. “As a Pittsburgh native and die-hard fan of the Steelers, the NFL and all things Pittsburgh, this is a dream come true.”

After the draft concludes on Saturday, April 25, Brown will take the stage for a high-energy finale to the series.

“The Draft is one of those weekends where you can feel how important the game is to people,” Brown said. “The fans, the players, the whole city, everyone is a part of it. Being here for that will be unforgettable.”
