Brandon Ingram is currently in the middle of his first season playing for the Toronto Raptors.

The 2020 NBA All-Star is averaging 21.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting 47.0% from the field and 35.8% from three-point range in 49 games.

Ingram was one of the major snubs.

One person who stuck up for Ingram was 2008 NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins.

Perkins wrote: “Brandon Ingram not being an All-Star is flat out Ridiculous”

In addition to Ingram’s strong performance this year, the Raptors are also among the best teams in the East.

They are currently the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-21 record in 51 games.

Over their last ten games, the Raptors have gone 6-4.

Most recently, they beat the Utah Jazz by a score of 107-100.

Ingram finished the victory with 19 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 7/19 from the field and 1/5 from three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Ingram was initially the second pick in the 2015 NBA Draft out of Duke.

He has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans over 11 seasons.

His career averages are 19.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range in 544 games.

As for Perkins, he has established himself as a star on ESPN’s NBA coverage.

The 41-year-old spent time playing for the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Pelicans and Cleveland Cavaliers over 14 NBA seasons.

His career averages were 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest.
