The Dallas Cowboys were trying to secure a victory at AT&T Stadium on Sunday over the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. However, things did not go in Dallas’ way as the Eagles roared to a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.
One player that Cowboys fans wanted to see contribute a lot on Sunday was wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. But he was pretty quiet in the first half.
What’s Wrong With Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb?
The Cowboys tried to get their offense in gear against the Eagles, but it wasn’t smooth sailing in the first half.
Running back Javonte Williams got loose for a long first-down run against the Eagles’ defense, but Lamb hasn’t been able to get open much for Dak Prescott to connect with him.

With the game nearly halfway through the second quarter, Lamb only had two catches for 16 yards. Teammate George Pickens was doing better with four catches for 46 yards.
According to the PFSN NFL Offense Impact metrics, the Cowboys have an impact score of 87.9 and grade out to a B+. Then, according to the PFSN NFL WR Impact metrics, Lamb has an 81.9 impact score and grades out to a B-.
There’s been no note regarding any type of injury situation for Lamb. The Cowboys have struggled on offense against the Eagles. It’s something Prescott, Lamb, and Co. will look to improve on as the game rolls along.
Last Monday night, Lamb and Pickens were held out of the Cowboys’ first offensive series against the Las Vegas Raiders. The official word regarding both players’ absences was that it was a disciplinary matter that led Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer to take action.
But there was also an online report, later denied by Lamb himself, that he was spotted throwing up outside of a Las Vegas casino during the early-morning hours last Monday.
With the way the Cowboys are playing on Sunday, it might lead some Dallas fans to throw up. After seeing Philadelphia go up 21-0 over the Cowboys, TV cameras caught Cowboys owner-general manager Jerry Jones smirking in his owners’ box.
Entering the game against the Eagles, Dallas was 4-5-1 on the season, with a 2-1-1 record at AT&T Stadium, their home field. There’s still plenty of time for the Cowboys to come back, though, and Lamb has time to play a bigger role than he’s done so far on Sunday.
