The Las Vegas Raiders will host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, specifically regarding TE Michael Mayer.
Is Michael Mayer Playing in Week 11?
Mayer is not on the injury report, and barring a surprise, he is expected to play.
We’ll continue to monitor the Raiders’ injury report leading up to kickoff for any changes. You can also visit and bookmark our Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.
Should You Start or Sit Mayer in Week 11?
Michael Mayer has low-end TE1 appeal if Brock Bowers is inactive for any given week, but with the super sophomore seemingly at full strength, there’s no reason to burn a roster spot on his backup.
Over the past two seasons, Mayer has turned 59 targets into just 311 yards and one touchdown: he’s not a lineup lock without Bowers and certainly doesn’t profile as the type that will take work off of the starter’s plate in a meaningful way.
